Booking info for the Reed Island Rounders and J.P. Fraley/Betty Vornbrock

Booking Information:

The Reed Island Rounders are available for concerts, festivals, workshops, and private events.
The band can be hired as its usual trio (fiddle, banjo, guitar), with a bass added for dances, or as a duo (Betty & Billy, on fiddle & guitar).
Diane Jones also works as a solo, on banjo & vocals, or mountain dulcimer & vocals.
Betty & Diane have experience in teaching workshops in fiddle & banjo, respectively, as well as offering a joint workshop that demonstrates how the two instruments work together.

We regret to say that the following opportunity is no longer available. We've enjoyed all of our workshop weekends with J.P., and extend a hearty thanks to all who hosted us and to all who participated. Please come visit J.P. Fraley at his festival in eastern Kentucky in September!

J.P. Fraley & Betty Vornbrock, along with Billy Cornette on guitar, are available for concerts, festivals, and workshops.
Betty has assisted J.P. in presenting intensive fiddle workshops over the past several years. The usual format includes Saturday/Sunday daytime classes, and a Saturday evening concert.

A typical concert would showcase J.P.'s Eastern Kentucky fiddle style, with Betty adding harmony fiddle to the tunes appropriate for twin-fiddling (see JP Fraley & Betty Vornbrock twin fiddle CD, "Side by Side"). Generally we also hire a bassist for a concert.

However, logistics are a factor, as J.P. lives about 4 1/2 hours from our farm. We like to be sure that Mr. Fraley does not have to travel extensively, so ample advance planning/contact is appreciated.
